|Computer Rendering of Proposed Hotel|
By now you've probably heard about the debate over whether the owners of the Villa at Mountain Lakes should be allowed to develop their existing banquet hall into a 5 story hotel. There's already a great deal of support for the idea and, as a local businesswoman, Morris County Realtor and long-time resident of Mountain Lakes, I'd like to weigh in and say that I hope the Frungillo family will be allowed to move forward with this project.

We’re not done with Winter yet, but it’s almost impossible to get rock salt lately. Morris County and most of the surrounding areas in NJ are drastically low on supplies. This can get dangerous quickly with all the melting and re-freezing that's going on. What can you do if you can’t get a solution from the store? Fortunately there are alternatives. (When you're a Realtor with homes for sale and no way to show them safely, you learn pretty quickly!)

There's just something about Tudor homes that makes my buyers fall in love instantly. They're the perfect combination of vintage charm and informal coziness and we're lucky enough to have a lot of them in this area! Lake Arrowhead in Denville is home to a bumper crop of little fairy godmother cottages and the Boonton Park Section boasts many larger-scale representatives of the style. One thing is for sure - whether they're big or small, you're going to be enchanted!

I just received an important message from one of my favorite charities. Nana's Gift of Boonton is devoted to bringing the joy of the Holidays to local children in need. Every year they grow their efforts and spread even more Holiday cheer! Once you read this letter, I know you'll want to get in touch with Kim Sgro to see how you can help, too! ~Jackie

If you drive through Montville as often as I do, you've seen the sign for Rails Steakhouse and the beauty of the new building emerging as the natural stone facade and copper roofs go into place. The suspense was killing me! Luckily, I got invited to take a look at what's in store for all of us!
I'm happy to report that we can look forward to enticing new shopping options, high-end 1 and 2 bedroom rentals and a restaurant/lounge that's different from anything else we have locally! Rails Steakhouse is part of a 55,000 square foot development located right along the train tracks and adjacent to the Towaco train station. It will be called Towaco Crossing, and the developers are hoping to create an appealing, walk-able downtown hub for an already great town.
